On the fourth Saturday of each month, some 250 local growers, producers and artisans gather to display and sell their produce and handiwork on the ‘Bruce Jones Market Grounds’ in the middle of the historic village of Yungaburra on the Atherton Tablelands, Far North Queensland, Australia.

Tableland fish Stocking Society has spent years stocking the lake with mainly Barramundi and Sooty Grunter and hopefully Mangrove Jack (permit pending). TFSS plays an important role in our community as Fishing forms an integral part of our regions tourism promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Taste of the Tablelands Festival is an annual homage to all that is good in this part of Tropical North Queensland, especially the produce that comes from its rich, red fertile soil. In the past the event has put politicians behind bars (serving drinks), racked up visitor numbers in the thousands and raised thousands more for Rotary Club projects in the region. Definitely a win-win-win.
