This unique and historical chapel still maintains its original mystique, originally located in Atherton, and relocated to Yungaburra. ‘Yungaburra Chapel’ oozes a refined village charm.
One of the most unique wedding venues in The Atherton Tablelands and encompasses both indoor and outdoor event spaces that can cater for a variety of bespoke events, from large sit-down wedding receptions to outdoor cocktail parties on the lawn. The ‘Yungaburra Chapel’ really is a world away from a big city and a perfect place to appreciate the region's finest hospitality for the widest variety of events.
Watch for platypus, tree-kangaroos, wallabies and a large variety of birds. Yungaburra, the heart of the Tablelands, was established in 1890, and is listed by the National Trust of Queensland with many of the original buildings still in use today. Our village is easily accessible from Cairns, being just over one hour travelling via the Gillies Range or drive from Cairns’ northern beaches via the Kuranda Range.
